It is with great pleasure that our Jr. High group honors Sarah Franklin for her great example and character.One of the awesome things about Sarah is that she puts into practice what she has come to believe about following Jesus. Not only does she read the Bible consistantly and engage in deep conversations about issues, such as savation and sin; but she also lives out a good example of what it means to be a Christian.
This was exemplified in her actions at this past weekend's Jr. High conference. The theme for the weekend was Connect and Sarah did! Seeing a girl being left out of her group and all alone, Sarah approached to invite the lonesome girl to hang out with our group. Despite the young girls refusal to Connect, Sarah still carried her head high showing a good example to our group of what it means to have compassion and a willing heart.
Good job Sarah. You make your youth leaders proud.
