October is a month packed full of fun events and great service opportunities. It’s going to be an awesome month to let your light shine for Christ and to put your faith into action. Check out the upcoming events to see how you can get involved and connect with others.JH & HS Cooks – Oct. 1st
4:30pm – 6:45pm. Students need to be at church on Wednesday night @ 4:30pm to help prepare dinner for WOW.
Guys Only Night – Oct. 10th
5pm – 11pm. JH & HS guys, it’s time to spend a little just being guys. Get ready for a night full of laser tag, junk food, movies, and more. Meet at the church by 4:30pm and bring $10 bucks.
Revolve Tour: All Access (w/sleepover) – Oct. 10th- 11th
Revolve Tour: All Access is a two day event (held @ the Anaheim Convention Center) for JH & HS girls only that addresses the deep issues facing teenage girls today in a relevant way. This event is sold out.

Friday, Oct. 10th meet at Shawna’s house @ 5:30pm to drop off overnight bags. (Come Fed)
Event: 7pm – 9:30pm; Sleepover @ Shawna’s 9:30pm -???
Saturday, Oct. 11th Breakfast @7:30am
Event: 9am – 4pm, with lunch provided. Pick up girls from Shawna’s @ 5:30pm
Youth @ Adventure Land – Oct. 22nd
6:30pm – 8pm. JH & HS will be taking over Adventure Land for one night only, so that all the adults will be able to be involved in the GRIP Carnival Meeting. This is a great way to serve & support both our adults and our children.
Pre-Carnival Set-up – Oct. 29th
6:45pm – 8pm. JH & HS will be involved in helping out with some aspect of the Carnival. Students are to report to the area that they signed up for. For more information with Hank or any Youth Sponsor.
Grip Carnival – Oct. 31st5pm – 8:30pm.
The Carnival will be a great way to meet our neighbor and work alongside Anaheim city officials/workers to meet the needs of our neighborhood. Students need to be here by 5pm to help finish setting up, and to eat dinner before the Carnival gets started. Please make sure to dress up in an appropriate costume.
