In December we celebrate many things: Family, Friends, Health. But the most important thing that we celebrate is our Faith. As we head into the craziness of the Christmas season, let’s remember to share the joy we have. After all, it’s the greatest gift that can be given. Below are some good events to invite some friends to.
Upcoming Events
Youth X-MAS Party – Wed., Dec. 3rd
6pm – 8pm. JH & HS students will meet together upstairs in the Rec. Room to hang out and enjoy some holiday festivities, gift exchanging, and delicious “Christmassy” foods. Dinner will be served at 6pm upstairs. This means that students will not be eating at WOW with everyone else. Students need to bring a wrapped gift ($5 max/ appropriate) to exchange. This is going to be a really fun time to hang out, so bring a friend.
Christmas Reception –Sun., Dec. 7th
9:15am – 10:15am. The Dec. 7th Reception will be the Sunday that our Youth Group is in charge of serving at. Students only need to help set up for the event and serve food on that morning. Please have students here by 9am to help set up. The Youth Sponsors will be preparing the food to be served, and will only need help on Sunday morning.
Youth Group Hang Out –
Fri., Dec. 12th
6pm – 10pm. This will be a great time to just chill out and have some fun. The Rec. Room will be open upstairs to play some games and to watch a movie. Food, drink, and dessert will be served ($10/person). So, bring a friend and a good attitude.
Jr. High Hand Bells – Sun., Dec. 14th
9am – 9:15am. Our Jr. High group will play a bell piece during our Sunday Worship Service. Students need to meet in the Sanctuary at 9am sharp for a final run-through.
Laser Tag – Thursday, Dec. 18th
6pm – 9pm. JH & HS students, come hang out at Camelot Golfland. Play some arcades, eat some pizza, and score at Laser Tag. Make sure you bring a friend and $15/person. Students need to be dropped off at/picked up from Camelot Golfland. Talk with Hank if you need a ride.
Deadline for Jr. High Believe - Fri., Dec. 19th
This year Believe is coming to Anaheim, and being held at the Anaheim Hilton. The Super Early-Bird price is $49/person. So, sign up before the deadline to avoid paying a higher price. Speak with Hank for more details.

Jr. High Believe Winter Conference – Jan. 30th-31stbe·lieve bE-'lEv; noun, A two-day event specifically for Jr. High students only. Packed with high-energy worship, Biblical teaching and one-on-one interaction, believe gives challenging opportunities for students to be invested in. believe is the event for Jr. High.
It’s going to be an exciting weekend. So students, be prepared to encounter God and to Speak. Sign up by Dec. 19th for the Super Early-Bird price of $49/person.

Winter CampFeb. 27th - 1st
It’s time to take your faith to the next level with ELEVATE at Ponderosa Pines Christian Camp. This is a weekend retreat just for High School students that will challenge them to reach new heights in their faith. It’s going to be an awesome weekend of deep worship & fun in the snow.Sign up by Dec. 28th to secure your spot. $50 deposit is required.
