Student Life in December

In December we celebrate many thing: family, friends, and health. But the most important thing that we celebrate is our faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ and His Advent. December is a great time to remember when the Word became flesh, and also to prepare ourselves for when he returns. As we approach Christmas Day, let us remember to spread the wealth of the gospel: Hope, Peace, Joy & Love.

Student Life in October

Did I hear someone say:

October is a month packed full of fun events and great service opportunities. It’s going to be an awesome month to let your light shine for Christ and to put your faith into action. Check out the upcoming events to see how you can get involved and connect with others.

Student Life in September

Well, summer's over and that means it's time to get back to school.

This summer in Student Ministries our studies and camps were focused on living out our faith & living on purpose. and living everyday in light of Christ’s return. It was another challenging summer of self-examination and re-focusing. But now, it’s time to put into practice what we learned and to press on as we continue our journey to become more like Jesus.

There's a lot going on this fall, so check out the
calendar and see how you can be involved.

And make sure to be here Sunday mornings for our weekly Bible Study series on sharing your faith. There's only a couple of lessons left, and they are going to be great.

So check out the Activities & Events page in the Student Ministries calendar. Then, mark your calendars, bring some friends to hang out with, and prepare to learn about God. It's going to be a great summer.
Make it memorable and meaningful.

Student Life in June

June is typically the month that we celebrate with those who are promoting or graduating. It's a very important time in a students life of maturity and growth, as they advance to the next stage of life, and on to face even tougher challenges in their education. And it's a time that we certainly honor here at AFCC.

Student Life In May

May is a month to cram and prepare for tests and exams, and to get in all your final projects and papers.

As the semester comes to a close it's tempting to ease up or to lose steam. For many May is a time to party (Cinco de Mayo) and to slack off, but it's important to finish strong with your focus on the prize.

The same is true for student life here at church. Even though we are close to ending our Wed. Night Bible Study series, we still have some important preparing to do as we head into the summer. So let's encourage each other to finish strong.

There are some great events happening in May, like Grad Night, Bible Challenge, and our Harbor House Workday, so check out the Student Ministries Calendar for more info.

Student Life In April

Easter is here!
A time when we contemplate and celebrate the Life, Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus. We truly have much to be thankful for and much to pray about.

There are a lot of great productions taking place in April to help us contemplate and celebrate Easter, like the Come Messiah Come musical and The Da Vinci Play.
There are also some other cool events and bible studies in April, so check out the Student Ministries Calendar for more info.

Praise God, for sending His Son, Jesus, on our behalf.
